Grand Palace to Ancient City (2 nights 3 days - Mandalay to Bagan)

Mandalay - Mingun - Yandabo - Bagan (Extension)

Day 1 (Sunday)

Check-In opens at 07:00 a.m. Sailing begins at 09:30 a.m. Upstream to Mingun. Mingun is famous for ruined uncompleted stupa, Pahtodawgyi and biggest ringing bell in the world. Stupa would have been the largest in the world at 150 meters if it had been constructed completely. King Bodawpaya casted the bell to go with this huge stupa and it is well known as Bell from Mingun. The bell is weighted 90 tons and it is the largest ringing bell in the world, and 3rd largest bell in the world. After visiting at Mingun, continue downstream. Moor overnight at mid river near a small village.

Day 2 (Monday)

Not long after start sailing at early morning, stop at Yandabo; a village well known for its pottery making manually. It is a village also know as peace tready of the First Anglo-Burmese war was signed on 24 Feb 1826. Proceed downriver to Bagan and estimated arrival at midafternoon. Visiting Sunset Pagoda.

Day 3 (Tuesday)

After breakfast, passengers will check-out to Bagan city.

 

Grand Palace to Ancient City (1 nights 2 days - Mandalay to Bagan)

Mandalay - Mingun - Yandabo - Bagan

Day 1 (Sunday)

Check-In opens at 07:00 a.m. Sailing begins at 09:30 a.m. Upstream to Mingun which is famous for its ruined uncompleted stupa and biggest righing bell in the world.

Day 2 (Monday)

Sailing at early morning with small stop at Yandabo. Proceed downriver, estimated arrival to Bagan at midafternoon.

 

Ancient City to Ancient Palace Sri Kshetra (Thayaykhittaya)

3nights 4days (Bagan - Pyay)

Bagan - Min Hla - A Kauk Taung - Pyay

Day 1 (Monday)

Check-In opens from 08:00 a.m. Afternoon visit to Bagan city and enjoy sunset.

Day 2 (Tuesday)

Early morning start sailing downstream. Approaching to Min Hla at late afternoon. Min Hla is known for its fort which was built by Italian architects to help Burmese King to keep the British at bay from advancing their troops towards the north. Moor overnight at mid river close to Min Hla city.

Day 3 (Wednesday)

Breakfast with enjoying morning beauty of Ayeyawaddy. Morning visit to Min Hla fort. A discussion, or an demonstration of traditional subject will be held on Sundeck in afternoon. Moor overnight at mid river near typical village.

Day 4 (Thrusday)

Sailing begins at early morning by passing Pyay (Prome) at around 08:00 a.m. Downriver to A Kauk Taung to enjoy its famous cliffs standing on the bank of Ayeyarwaddy River. Passing with slow sailing close to cliffs as much as possible to view the Buddha images carved in stone cliffs. Sailing back again upstream and estimated arrival to Pyay at around 16:00.

 

Ancient Palace Sri Kshetra (Thayaykhittaya) to Ancient City

3 nights 4days (Pyay to Bagan)

Pyay - A Kauk Taung - Aung Lan - Bagan

Day 1 (Saturday)

Check-In at afternoon. Welcome cocktail in the Saloon. Welcome dinner will be served with Myanmar Dance entertainment on Sundeck.

Day 2 (Sunday)

Sailing downstream begins at early morning. Reach to A Kauk Taung. Sailing slowly close to its cliffs to enjoy stone carving of Buddha images on its cliffs which are standing on the bank of Ayeyarwaddy River. Overnight at middle river near Aung Lan city.

Day 3 ( Monday)

At morning visit to Aung Lan city. According to uncertain information, Aung Lan was named after Major Allan from British army during Colonial period. It's old name was Allanmyo (Allan myo - myo in which Myanmar language is "city"). Upstream to Minbu and overnight at mid river.

Day 4 (Tuesday)

Continue upriver sailing. Passengers can admire the natural beauty of the river and the life of its banks by relaxing on the sundeck or sitting in their own cabin. Estimated arrival to Bagan at late afternoon.
